How to sell a concert

A typical timeline, from when the concert is announced until the doors open.

    Announce with Early Bird

    Open sales with a limited number of Early Bird tickets with their own sales period. It gets the first days moving.

  2. 2

    Regular ticket and discount codes

    When Early Bird is gone, the regular ticket keeps selling. Discount codes can go to the band's friends and partners.

    Waitlist when you're sold out

    People join the waitlist, and you can open more tickets if space opens up.

  4. 4

    The doors open

    Crew scan the tickets on their own phones, and the last tickets can be issued at the door.

The money before the concert

Sound, lights and the deposit have to be paid before the doors open. You can withdraw the money 5 days after each sale, while sales are still running.

Questions we actually get

Can we create an Early Bird that closes by itself?

Yes. Give the Early Bird ticket its own sales period or a fixed number. When the period ends or the tickets are gone, it closes.

What happens when we're sold out?

Then people can join a waitlist for that ticket type. You see who's on it and can open more tickets whenever you want.

Can we sell tickets through our own website?

Yes. Put a button or an event card on your site. It takes the guest straight to ticket sales on Ticketo.

Can the band get tickets for the guest list?

Yes. Create a free, hidden ticket type and send the link to those who should be on the guest list, or issue the tickets from your phone.

What if the concert is canceled?

You mark the event as canceled, and all guests are notified by email. You refund the tickets from the guest list. If you've already withdrawn the money, it has to be returned first, so leave it if there's a risk of cancellation.
