Private events, only for people with the link
Company parties, Christmas parties and closed events. The event isn't shown on the home page, and you decide who can buy.

Private means private
If you set the event to be visible only to people with the link, three things happen.
- 1
It doesn't appear on the home page
Neither on Ticketo's home page nor in the overviews of cities and categories.
- 2
It isn't listed on your organizer page
Your public events are still listed there. The private one isn't.
- 3
Search engines are asked to stay away
The page is marked so Google and the others don't show it in search results.
The link can still be passed on. If only specific people should be able to buy, lock the tickets too.
Lock the tickets
You can combine it as it suits you. E.g. free for employees with a company email and payment for companions with a code.
Only with a specific email
Require an email at e.g. @company.com. The guest confirms their email with a code before the ticket can be bought.
Access code on the ticket
Share a code with those who are coming. Without the code, the ticket type can't be selected.
Hidden ticket types
A ticket type can be hidden and only shown to those you send a special link to, e.g. companions or guests.
One ticket per email
With tickets for an email domain, you can set a limit on how many tickets each email can buy.
For the Christmas party and the company party
Christmas parties are in November and December, so registration needs to go out now.
- Ask about allergies and the menu at registration
- Free for employees, payment for companions
- Email to everyone signed up with the program and seating plan
- Receipt with VAT for those who pay themselves
- Scanning at the door if you're a big group
A companion ticket for DKK 295

- The guest pays
- DKK 309.03
- You get paid out
- DKK 295.00
Free tickets cost DKK 0. If you want a round price, you can pay the fee yourselves, and it's deducted from the payout.
Questions we actually get
Can a private event be found on Google?
We ask search engines not to show private events, and they're not on the home page or on your organizer page. But the link works for anyone who has it. If only specific people should be able to buy, the tickets should also be locked with a code or an email domain.
Can we make the event public later?
Yes. You can switch between private and public when you edit the event.
How does the specific email requirement work?
You enter the domain, e.g. company.com. The guest enters their email, gets a code sent and can only buy once the code is confirmed. Other emails are rejected.
Can the company pay instead of the employees?
Yes, in two ways. The ticket can be free for the employees, or you can choose to pay the fee yourselves, so the guest pays exactly your price.
Do we get a receipt for the accounts?
Guests get a receipt with VAT, and you can download an accounting export as a file from the dashboard.
