When 800 tickets need to be sold in a week

Sales open, everyone buys on their phone during break, and in the evening the whole school has to get in through one door. Here's how Ticketo helps the party committee.

    Require an email on the school's domain. The student confirms with a code, and other emails are rejected.

  • One ticket per student

    Set a limit on how many tickets each school email can buy, so the tickets aren't resold in bulk.

From the first ticket to the last guest

Here's how a typical sale runs, from when sales open until the last guest is scanned in.

    Create the party

    Add ticket types for students and guests, put the school's email domain on the student ticket, and choose when sales open.

    Share the link

    Post it in the class chats, on Instagram and on the school's intranet. Students buy with MobilePay or card on their phone.

    Scan at the door

    The party committee logs in on their own phones and scans the tickets. You can follow live how many have come in.

The money before the party

You can withdraw the money 5 days after each sale. That way the DJ, lights and deposit can be paid while sales are still running.

  • Next year's committee can take over the account with their own users

The fee is added on top of your price and paid by the student. You can also choose to pay it yourselves.

Questions we actually get

Can we make sure only students at the school buy?

Yes. Require an email on the school's domain, e.g. elev.skolen.dk. The student gets a code at their school email and can only buy once the code is confirmed.

What if a student doesn't have access to their school email?

Then you can create a ticket type with an access code and give the code directly to the student.

Who can scan at the door?

Anyone you give access as helpers. They use their own access and don't need to know your password, and you can have as many people at the door as you like.

Can teachers and the DJ be on the guest list?

Yes. Create a free, hidden ticket type and send the link to those who should be on the list, or issue the tickets directly from your phone.

Do we need a CVR number?

No, not to create an account and an event. For the payout, Stripe needs to be able to identify a recipient, e.g. a person with a CPR number or the student association with a CVR number.
